Why Buyers Work With Tamim International
How an Order Works
A typical export order with Tamim International follows five steps. Exact terms are agreed in the sales contract for each shipment.
- Inquiry or RFQ. Send the commodity, grade or specification, quantity, destination port and preferred delivery term (CIF or DDP) through our quotation request form or by email.
- Offer and specifications. We confirm availability and send a written offer with the product specification, packaging and price basis.
- Contract. Quality parameters, quantity tolerance, inspection arrangements, payment terms and delivery schedule are agreed in a signed sales contract.
- Inspection. Buyers may inspect the goods in person at our Dar es Salaam warehouse, and pre-shipment inspection is carried out as agreed in the contract.
- Loading and shipment. Goods are loaded and shipped from the Port of Dar es Salaam, and the shipping and export documents are released as agreed.
